If a one time bet is offered where using standard craps dice you win if 6,7,or 8 is rolled or you lose if the other numbers are rolled but your payoff is 9 to 5 if you win I would hope you take the bet.
Being paid 9 to 5 on a proposition that is only 5 to 4 against is a bet you have to be willing to make even though you are more likely to lose.
Being paid 9 to 5 on a series between two 95 win teams is the correct choice for the rational mind.
