Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin absolutely killed it last night. All of the articles on Real Clear Politics show outstanding reviews.

The leaders of the Republican party have always been smarter and way more organized that the other party and it's starting to show again. Everyone knows Bush has been a disaster, myself included, and this ticket is distancing themselves as far away from Bush as they can, smartly comparing themselves to one of the greatest Presidents in history, Ronald Reagan.

Unless someone is a hard core liberal, I'm baffled beyond belief how they can pull the lever for the Democratic European-African-American Candidate. Do we really want him in charge of the greatest FREE Country in the history of the World?

Here is an excellent article on why the Democratic Candidate can't win over the American people. There is nothing here to dispute. If elected this will happen. Is this what you angry lefts want to fix this country?

I can't wait until the debates.

Did everyone get their picks in for survivor football? Deadline is tonight before kickoff. A lot of you still owe me the enrty fee.

What's so free about our country these days? The administration spies on every piece of internet traffic, we're in more debt to foreign governments every day, the administration is impotent when it comes to dealing with Russia over Georgia, and any comment perceived as anti-right wing is labeled as unpatriotic.

I can't vote for a candidate who has disavowed science and evidence, and who claims to cut taxes in a state that doesn't even have an income tax.

Palin might be more compelling if she were just a bit more truthful.

Don seems to have learned the playbook well -- attack the blogger when the facts aren't in your favor. I'm a bit shocked you're not running for office, frankly.

Attacks wow.

I post some pro-right stuff and get slammed about what a piece of shit I am for being a Republican by multiple angry lefts and I attacked?

What the fuck did I attack?

But who am I to argue, you guys are always correct.

Enjoy your socialism.

That's the attack...throwing around standard catchphrases like "socialist", or "weak on defense", etc.

Nobody's calling you a piece of shit. You post a blog and ask whether we want Obama (or McCain) to be president, and I post a comment in response that doesn't refer to you personally at all. And immediately, you start commenting about how I must be right 100% of the time.

WTF? What does me disagreeing with you have anything to do with anything other than the fact we have two differing opinions? WTF does me disagreeing with you call for you personally attacking me, when what I responded to was your opinion of Obama.

If you want to debate facts, we can debate facts, and we can do so without personal insults, even if that isn't the Rovian way.

thing is these republicans are nearly just as liberal, the annoying thing is when ppl pretend they aren't.

i think ideally if we want to slow down the nonsense, we need opposing parties to run the president as congress, so they at least have ego fights and get less done.

otherwise we sit here and watch govt cont to raise spending blowing the money they steal from us on a bunch of BS, while taking away our rights and freedoms and further empowering themselves.

no matter who gets elected the end result will be the same.

fuck govt.

Well Mondo, if you take a look at Obama's policies one can come to a conclusion that they are very socialist or as Wayne Allen Root, Libertarian candidate for VP says, a communist. He wants to balance the playing field by taking money from the rich to give to the poor. How is that not socialism or communism?

why does everyone always say regan was a great president. He was an actor, and an old fart to boot. I believe the dude that was really runny the county during those years was Ed Meess, or something like that.

I will gladly pull the lever for Obama. I vote primarily on the basis of a candidate's IQ, as evidenced by their complex reasoning ability.

Unfortunately, I will also be voting in Florida, so who knows if my vote will actually count.

We'll agree to disagree. :)
