Congrats to Obama and all his supporters on the election victory.

Maybe Socialism will be cool, fuck if Pauly can go on Holiday instead of vacation how bad can it be.

I'm an underground citizen and when at times I held corporate jobs I was aware that there are no laws requiring any of us to pay income tax so nothing has really changed for me. The Feds can suck my dick.

Bush has been horrible, and yes I did vote for him twice but I hope that everyone who wants change gets the change they want. I was taught and learned at an early age to be careful what you wished for, you just might get it, and those who do want change you are going to get it. I hope it is everything you imagined.

Starting tomorrow, since my decison to support a small business which is now officially failed, I will get on every list that will support me. Welfare, food stamps, free money however I can get it since my love for gambling and vodka is more than my love for a hard days work. I do look forward to your support.

As a poker blogger I do request that every poker blogger who made in excess of $100K last year, immediatley transfer me $10K no later than Friday. It really is the only fair thing to do. We are all equal so since I did not earn as much as you in the work force, nor did I win as much as you playing poker, I immediately demand my compensation.

Don't make me call you out and look for you because I will.

BTW. I have a couple lots in Costa Rica if anyone wants to build in my neighborhood.

Good luck to us all.

I make over 100K a year and I voted for Cynthia McKinney (Green Party). Your check is in the mail.

I've started to liquidate this morning because, I to, would like to be compensated for the expressed fact that we are all equal.

And I don't want to be labeled as selfish, and I don't want to be unpatriotic, so I will make sure to take part in the redistribution of all wages and earnings.

Apparently its the right thing to do.

Just remember - it's coloUr, favoUr, and it's prounounced "zed" not "zee".

What's next? The US goes metric and starts using coins for singles? Makes for happy strippers.

I was just so excited last night. I mean for the first time in my adult life I will no longer need to worry about putting gas in the tank or paying my mortgage. I know since I helped him, he will help me.

The Messiah has arrived!

I am liberal in social issues but I am anti communism. This post made me laugh. Call me selfish. I hate helping poor people. Capitalism rules.

Hyperbolic much?

Seriously, I fail to see how returning the highest marginal tax rate to what it was during the 90s (um, three points higher, and far less than under previous Republican presidents, even) is socialist or communist.

Certainly not as socialist as McCain's plan to buy up everyone's mortgage and make everyone pay for everyone's mortgage equally...or Palin's "redistribution of wealth" to all Alaskans.

In this campaign, the real socialism was promoted by the Republican ticket, not the Dems.

Time will tell what happens, however. There's plenty of time for events to play out to show whether the far right was really just using "socialist" as code for "he's black and not like me and probably a Muslim", or whether the Republicans actually repudiate the true socialist acts that McCain was desiring and that Palin was already perpetrating.

I'm guessing for now that the former remains true. But we'll see.

I should append my previous comment -- the tone reads somewhat less cheerful than I am.

The reality is, no one *truly* knows where we're going to be a year from now, and that this would hold true no matter who won the election this week.

We go forward with much anticipation, and yes, some trepidation. But I strongly feel the American public made the right choice.

But the economy is going to get worse before it gets better (again, no matter who won), and the nation can't turn on a dime. We'll see what happens, but good luck to all, at and away from the tables.

Sorry the small business failed.

I would suggest as a cost cutting measure you could use
