Game Day

Big game tonight for the Dolphins as they host the Bears. Third-string QB Tyler Thigpen gets the start after both Pennington and Henne were hurt in last Sunday's win over Tennessee. I've been a fan of Thigpen since his days in KC and I think he just may have a future in the NFL. With all the Dolphin injuries I'm amazed that the line is still Miami -1, which of course is the side to take.

Looking forward to Vegas in a big way but I've made somewhat of a pit stop on the way. I'll be seeing some family over the Thanksgiving holidays as well as seeing/saying goodbye to a long lost/new found love that for some reason against all odds we just can't shake each other.

Honestly, I never thought I would feel this way about anybody. I never have before and I just thought this sort of love and passion was going to pass me by. Two years, long distance, many quick trips, tons of Skype, way too many chats and emails, one great big uphill climb for both of us but neither can let go.

I do have tons written about it, fuck it was my only outlet for some hard nights, some longing, some heart ache, and oh some of the absolute best times of my life. I do know when I leave that when I look into that rear view mirror on I go, it's goodbye, it's on to my new life in Vegas and back to her life in the Midwest.

Probably too much information, but you know me, I'm not afraid to bare my soul nor share my stories and perhaps someday it will pay off in a gigantic way.

Sports bar time almost. Go Miami Dolphins.

Moving West Again

Well I've been on the road so there haven't been any more .500 football picks lately. No great loss for sure.

So what's up you may wonder? I'm working my way westward and I should be back in Vegas for good right after Thanksgiving. Florida has run it's course, my days in the drug and rehab field are definitely over as I can't stand to deal with these young spoiled kids and their even more fucked up parents.

I originally took a job with a start-up, setting up everything needed to run a 100 bed post-treatment recovery residence, then once everything was in place and the operation starting humming, the owner decided he would become the Director which of course sent me to the curb. Looking back he did me a huge favor so I'm over that finally.

Florida has become too old, too third-world, to shady, too New York for my tastes anymore. Sure the winter is awesome with the weather but I'm tired of dealing with grey hairs every day. I always loved living in Vegas so I'm heading back to start over there again, same as I did in 2006. I can't wait.

That's my story in a nutshell. Sure I've made a hundred attempts to revive this here blog but I'm hoping I can get some momentum going with the move and I can update life again once I get back to Vegas. Hopefully life will be full and exciting again and there will be tons to report; poker, gambling, fun, partying, woman, the works.

So also this means I will be in Vegas for the blogger festivities come December which brings me a ton of excitement. Can't wait to see a lot of you guys and girls again and to also meet some of the new kids. Oh and right there is a poker tournament going on so if I can talk Chad into playing we'll need a third to join the team. Anybody still looking join a winning team? Cracknaces, MiamiDon, and who will be the third?
